What's the difference? Portraits are an expression of self, best taken on location, in your own surrounding or one that makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. It usually takes around 3 hours and includes time for us to get to know you and what you want to portray, as well as lots of shooting to make sure we get the perfect shot for you.
Headshots on the other hand are usually for self promotion. These are commonly used by Companies, actors and musicians. Headshots will always be crisp and clear and show the individuals best side.
Wedding Photography
I enjoy the photo-journalistic style of shooting weddings. It captures the candid moments that often are missed when shooting traditional style. In preparation for a wedding I will meet with the bride, groom & wedding planner at least once to get the feel for who they are, what they like, and how the wedding will proceed. This will help me to create a customized finished product. There are almost always traditional shots that most couples desire and together we will discuss what those are. The finished product will be a blend of the traditional set up and photojournalistic style, tailored to your personal taste.
Although my main focus is still photography, Digital Reflections also offers video recording of your wedding! This would include one, two or three DV cameras and the editing of these videos into an unforgettable wedding video. If you choose to have both stills and video, we can create a beautiful photo/video montage burned to DVD for your viewing pleasure. Rock n' Roll/Musician/Event Photography
So…you need some GREAT live shots of your band? DR will shoot your band at your desired "gig" capturing each band member in all their glory, doing what they do best, performing!
Event photography is by far the most taxing for a photographer after weddings. Digital Reflections will shoot your entire event, whether rock festival or corporate get together, from start to finish; giving you a feel for the day, months or even years later.
